R&D Center

The R&D center in Hainan Hailing Chemipharma Corp., Ltd. was established in 2004, an emerging science and technology institute of pharmaceutical research and development, mainly engaged in fine chemicals, biotechnology and pharmaceutical research and development. The company always adheres to the road of independent innovation, and has established six technical research and development platforms of antibiotic technique, antivirals, antitumor drugs, antifungal drugs, target drugs, and sustained and controlled release dosage form, with pharmaceutical research and development capabilities of variety of dosage forms, such as chemicals, active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), lyophilized injectables, oral solid dosage forms and cream.

The company is equipped with domestic & oversea first-class R&D instruments and equipment, including Linkam Freeze Dry Microscope, Mettler Differential Scanning Calorimeter (DSC), Tofflon Freeze Dryer, Agilent Liquid Chromatograph, Agilent Gas Chromatograph, Shimadzu Liquid Chromatography, Metrohm Karl Fischer Moisture Titrator, Agilent UV Detector, Multifunction Solid Dosage Form Trial Device, Emulsifying Machine, Rotary Evaporator, Double-layer Reaction Kettle etc. The technique of developing lyophilized dosage form with Freeze Dry Microscope, DSC and Freeze Dryer has reached the domestic leading level.

Project management system is implemented in the company, and a project team will be set up for each R&D project, during the execution of which project plan and budget are strictly followed to effectively promote project process, ensure project quality, control and reduce project costs. Furthermore, the company has also established a sound R&D management system, including instruments & equipment calibration and maintenance system, research logbook management system, to ensure the compliance of R&D activities with GMP requirements, and the authenticity, accuracy and reproducibility of R&D results.

The company adheres to a development model of association between strong enterprises and industry-university research cooperation, a development road of independent innovation, and has established a cooperative relationship with domestic and oversea research institutions of new drugs, clinical units, scientific academies and manufacturers, relying on the resources accumulated over the years, which greatly shortens the development cycle of new drugs, and enhance the scale-research capability of new drugs and international competitiveness. The company also develops innovative products with high added-value and independent intellectual property right, based on market demand and future development trend.

In the past decade, we have made fruitful R&D achievements, and obtained many patents, developed two first generics (of which one is an exclusive variety), four clinical approvals of Category I drug, Hainan high-tech products and etc. Furthermore the developed antiviral is ready to enter the US market.
