【Indications】

Treatment of infections of respiratory system, urinary system, digestive system, gynecology and reproductive organ caused by susceptible organisms of gram-negative rod-shaped bacteria (e.g. Escherichia coli, Enterobacter and Proteusbacillus vulgaris), such as sepsis, purulent meningitis, peritonitis, osteomyelitis, skin and soft tissue infection, and eye, ear, nose and throat infections.

【Dosage and Administration】

Intramuscular injection (IM), intravenous injection (IV) or intravenous drip (IV drip); for adults, a daily dose of 2-6 g; for severe injections, increasing the daily dose to 8-12 g and 15 g at the maximum.

Daily intramuscularly administrated in 2-4 divided doses, and intravenously administrated (drip) every 6 to 8 hours as needed; daily dose depending on the specific conditions of patients; for severe patients, increasing the intravenous injection to every 4 to 6 hours.
