【Indications】

Nateglinide Capsules can be solely administrated to patients with diabetes mellitus type 2 whose hyperglycemia cannot be effectively controlled by diet and exercise, or combined with (rather than replaced) metformin for treatment of patients with diabetes mellitus type 2 whose hyperglycemia cannot be effectively controlled bymetformin.Nateglinide Capsules is not indicated for patients with diabetes mellitus type 2 with unsatisfactory response to the therapy using sulfonylurea hypoglycemic agents.

【Dosage and Administration】

Oral administration. Adults usually receive a single dose of 60-120mg (2-4 capsules), three times daily, and take Nateglinide Capsules 1-15 minutes before the meal. It is recommended to take a small dose at the beginning and further adjust the dose based upon the test result of HbA1cperiodically or blood sugar in 1-2 hours after the meal, and asingle dose can be gradually added to 180mg (6 capsules).
